Big Boy!

Momma was saying how much I look like a big boy in my t-shirt and shorts. I don't look as much like a little baby. That's going to make Papa Slaton sad because he said that I can't get any bigger until I get to see them again. Yesterday, I was 8 weeks old and I'm weighing 11 lbs. and 11 oz.

Momma thinks my smile is SO CUTE!!

Little Man had a big day on Saturday. We went to Josh and Nelleke's for a birthday party.

We made it over to DBU to check it all out. It's looking so beautiful and they are growing like crazy. The new chapel is huge; it's going to over-power Potter's House!! Anyway, I was telling Preston that he will get to ring the Liberty Bell when he starts his freshman year!! Go Patriots!!

Little "Ladies" Man had fun being passed around at Sara's wedding shower. He wants Miss Sara and Mrs. Emily to hurry up so he can have some friends to run around with.

Playmat and Smiles

Preston is 7 weeks old now and has hit a personality milestone...he's smiling! Oh, it's so CUTE!! And in case you don't already know...he's got DIMPLES like his daddy...YEAH!!! I haven't been quick enough to get a picture of very many smiles, but I have a few below. Once I get a good picture of the dimples, I'll post it.
Last night we introduced him to his Puppy Playmat. He didn't seem to be into it but this morning was a whole new story. The puppy that sings and lights up made him smile and start making an "Ahhh" sound. It kept his attention for about 10 minutes..YEAH! This is so fun!!

First Mother's Day

Preston is the greatest gift I've been given. Being a mother has changed my life. It's such a blessing from God. I never thought my heart could love like this.

For Mother's Day, I was given a "Many Faces of Preston" clock...I just TOTALLY love it!!

Also, Preston gave me an "I love Mommy" onesie that he'll wear that also has a little star on the booty cheek that says "And she loves me, too."

One Month Old

Our little baby boy is one month old today!
This has been the most exciting month of my whole life. Preston is our little miracle from God..the second greatest gift God could ever give us, the first being salvation. He is the one thing that we can invest our lives into that we can take with us to heaven for eternity. I love him so very much!
