Preston was born on
April 1,2008 at 11:33 am.
He was 7 lbs. 12.8 oz. and
20 inches long.
He is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! He's our little miracle from God! Preston has my mouth, and Dustin's everything (except Preston has more hair...hee hee).
The labor went extremely well. My doctor was impressed at how everything went. It wasn't as rough as I thought it would be, thank the Lord.
My parents and Dustin's parents were able to stay with us in the labor room up until the delivery. It was great to be able to just sit around and impatiently wait together.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers. Keep praying as we try to get sleep in the midst of feedings and crying. Preston seems to have his days and nights mixed up. This is very hard and exhausting work!!!!

You're right - he's beautiful!! Can't wait until he makes his first trip to East Texas!
Congratulations! We are so excited for you. And thankful God answered prayers for a good delivery. Call me if you need anything or want to talk through any of the newborn stuff.

Congratulations!! What a sweet, beautiful baby boy! Glad everything went well. Thinking and praying of you three for strength and energy as you experience the joys and struggles of parenting.
