Just letting everyone know, Preston is still not here. We had a wonderful D-Now weekend with the youth and we are ready for Preston to come now. It's just a matter of time and as of yesterday afternoon I am IMPATIENTLY waiting for him to come. The hormones are kicking in and I'm trying NOT to get emotional about it all. I do have a little over a week before his due date, but I just get things set in my mind on how they are going to be. Well, I just wanted to give an update. Keep Praying!!

Any Day Now!
I went to the doctor yesterday and he said, to my surprise, that Preston could come any day now. He's predicting within a week. He said that he was certain that I wouldn't make it to 39 weeks. I was 3 cm dialated and 75% effaced. Also, Preston is in position to come. We did another sonogram and I will post that picture later. He has little chubby cheeks now...so CUTE!!! We also got a picture of his foot. I just love baby feet!! The doctor said that Preston is a little over or under 7 lbs. at this point. I'm excited but almost a little scared now. Reality is setting in that this could happen at any time. I don't have the 2 weeks I was expecting to have to get everything finalized.
Pray that Preston will come at the RIGHT time. Dustin has a D-Now with the youth this weekend and his mom is a radiology tech and can not get off this weekend. Either Preston needs to come before or after the weekend, so you know that means he'll come right in the middle of the weekend.
If you don't hear from me for awhile, just know I'm probably in the hospital. I will update my blog as soon as I can.

Big Baby Boy Belly
For those who say that I haven't gotten very big.......maybe I haven't, but there's no denying that Preston isn't.
These are my 37 week pregnancy pictures. Crazy how fast things change. In just less than 3 weeks, Preston should be here! (Better be!!)

Showers of Blessings
Thank you so much to all of you that have come to my showers or given gifts for Baby Preston. It just reminds us that we are loved and that means the most. I have had so much fun! It has been a true blessing. I had no idea how much stuff a baby needs, but I think we have gotten the majority of what's necessary. Thanks, again!
Let me just show you these beautiful cakes! I just hate that they had to be eaten, but at least I have pictures.

Preston Follows Directions Well
On Monday, I had my 36 week check up. I will be going every week from here on out. The news was WONDERFUL!! Preston's head is pointing southward. The doctor said he is actually really low and my cervix is soft so.....it could be anytime he's ready. Thanks for your prayers. This appointment was a big one for us.
It's so funny how my stomach has changed over the last 3-4 weeks. I'm not as round as I have been. I'm starting to look a little squared off with corners at the top. The doctor said that it's his rear on one side and legs on the other. Even though he is really getting lower, ever so often he moves and will get his legs (I'm assuming that's what it would be) and push up on my ribs. It just makes me want to do a back bend, just to get some room.

Friendly Visits
At the beginning of March, Dustin and I went to Jacksonville to see his family. While we were in the area, I got to stop by and see a good friend from college who is also expecting. Hannah will be having a little girl in May. I'm 30 weeks pregnant in this picture. (Hannah looks great!)

Snow (2x)
(Updated: I finally found time to get my pictures uploaded...we are too busy)
This past week it snowed on us TWICE, once on Tuesday and then again on Thursday. The craziest part is that when it started snowing on Thursday it got bad FAST! Around 1:00, I called Dustin to tell him to look outside because the snow was falling big Colorado flakes. By 1:30 our school was announcing that we were having an early release at 2:00. By 2:00 the school was almost completely empty and Dustin was picking me up. Our 15 min. drive from my work to home ended up taking us 1 hour and 45 minutes to get home. There are a lot of curves and hills between our house and work. Everyone was fish-tailing, spinning out, and not getting enough traction to make it up the hills. Finally, when we were about 1.5 miles from the house we got to our last main hill and there was 7-8 cars stuck...either in the ditch or in the middle of the road blocking us all. Dustin pulled our car into an empty house's driveway and WALKED to our house to get our 4x4 Jeep. After sitting there for 10 minutes I called to see how he was doing. I called him at least 10 times and he never answered. I started getting a little concerned and being that I'm pregnant...I had to go to the bathroom so bad. Anyway, after sitting there about 20 minutes, he called to say that he was at the bottom of the hill with the Jeep. There were several cars still blocking the street so he walked up to get me and we made it back down to the Jeep, which by the way is the best car ever because it weaved in and out of all of that junk with no problem. Come to find out, Dustin had been trying to call me too but the lines must have been full or connection was bad. Anyway, we didn't have work on Friday so we enjoyed staying home snuggled up by the fire. By Friday afternoon, the roads were all clear and we pick Dustin's car up. I was glad to see that no one hit it while it was sitting there.
Well, let me catch up on a few other things that have been going on......
For Valentine's Day, Dustin gave me a little jewelry looking box that had a pink collar and little name tag that said, "Runtly", on it. It's official!!! For all of you that have kept up with our puppy drama, you know how special Runtly is to me. She's the best Valentine's gift, EVER!!
Also, last weekend, Dustin and I went to see his parent's in Jacksonville and I got to stop by and see Hannah (college friend) in Tyler. It was so good to see her. She was able to help me out with a few questions I had about certain 'mother-to-be' things. She is expecting a little girl, Parker, in May.
Well, I have another doctor's appointment in a little over a week. Be praying that Preston starts to turn southward because at this moment he is still laying sidewards (head in my right side ribs and bottom in my lower left side). Also, I am starting to get to that uncomfortable stage. I'm going to the bathroom several times a night, my ribs are killing me, my feet hurt if I have to walk/stand very long, and I'm just not comfortable. Thanks for your prayers!!
